Tips for using the Furr&Purr Brush

We’re so excited for you to use your new brush! Cats will be cats and they’re peculiar about new things, so we’d like to share a few tips.

Using the Furr&Purr Brush is very easy.

• Place the brush in front of your cat and let them discover and smell their new brush.

• Insert the brush on any finger, whichever feels more natural to you.

• Let your cat approach you and pet them like you normally would.

• Start with their back until they start purring. You’ll know when they’re warmed up.

• They may try to play or bite the brush but don’t worry! It’s purrfectly normal. Be patient and wait until they give you consent.

• Be gentle and kind, don’t poke them in the face.

• Work your way toward their neck, then massage the cheeks, and finally brush the top of their head.

• Use the stiff ears on the brush to scratch around your cat’s ears.

• By now, your cat should be in purre bliss and in love with you.

• Chill, watch tv, read, and enjoy the purrs and cuddles you earned! Oh, and take lots of videos and pictures to share. We want to see them purr!
